                                                        Solving Our Problems

If we get problems, how can we solve these problems? If people have problems, there are two solutions. They are: getting help from other good people, and solving problems alone. I think getting help from other people is better than solving the problem alone. I think this because getting other people’s help is faster to solve the problem than solving the problem alone.

We need teamwork if we fix the broken big house or a broken castle. It is because the building is very big, so if we fix the very tall and big building alone, it will be very tiring and exhausting. Also, if we fix that building alone, we need much time to fix it, like many months. So if the building gets bigger, the time it takes gets longer, too. Also, we need teamwork to solve the problem if we clean the messy town. The reason is the same as when we need more time, and we get exhausted. But just one thing is different. It is different that if the town is messier, we need more time.

I have a story of when I got help from others and solved a problem. For example, my room was so messy, so I wanted to clean my room. I started to clean my room, and then my parents helped me clean my room. I was thankful to my parents because my parents helped me clean my room, and I cleaned my room quickly, so I was not tired. Then, I played with my sister.

Solving Problems Alone

If I have problems, I can get help from my parents. If I was lost, then I would ask a stranger to borrow the phone. In the book, Chocolate Fever, the main character, Henry, had a big problem. He ate too much chocolate every day. For example, Henry ate chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (mornings, afternoon, and evening). One day, he felt very strange in Mrs. Kimmelfarber’s math class. A little later, he was white, but there were brown spots all over his body. So he called Mrs. Kimmelfarber, but she didn’t believe that he brown spots appeared now. But Henry told her there was a problem one more time, so they went to Mr. Pangalos’s room. Mr. Pangalos, the school doctor, also didn’t believe the amazing story, so Henry said it was real. Mr. Pangalos called Nurse Farthing and kept Henry in the office. Later, Mr. Pangalos looked at his body, but there was nothing, so Mr. Pangalos said it was just a spot. Then, more spots popped out of his face, and they all became bigger and bigger! So they called Dr. Fargo., the town doctor. He looked at Henry’s body, but also, he said that it was a spot. Then, he asked if someone ate a candy bar. Then, he knew what the spots were! They were chocolates! So he tried to catch Henry. Then, Henry ran away. After the people went away, he went to the school yard. Later, he met a man called Mac. Mac was a stranger, but he was strong, and when they were caught by some bad men, Mac untied them and saved them. Later, when they both went to Dr. Sugar Cane, who is Mac’s good friend, he gave a vanilla pill to Henry to help Henry’s chocolate disease. Dr. Sugar Cane knew how to heal his disease because he had the same thing, too, when he was younger.

Next, I will write about the story, “Wayside School is Falling Down.” I will write about the great characters that solved their problems with good attitudes. The first great character is Benjamin. Benjamin was called Mark Miller before. It was because Mrs. Jewls made a mistake. Benjamin finally told everyone that he was Benjamin in the 29th chapter. Before, there were no chances for Benjamin to say he was Benjamin. The 2nd great character is Allison. It is because she solved the problem that there was no 19th story (floor). And so there was no 19th story’s teacher, Mrs. Zarves. But there was.

Better Attitudes

Now, I will tell about how these great characters solved their problems in the story. First, Benjamin solved his problem by speaking up. There was a change in the 29th story, but there was no reaction from the class, and everyone didn’t think he was weird. So they talked about who else was weird. Second, I’ll talk about Allison. She solved her problem by finding it, the 19th story. There was a 19th story (floor), but it was invisible. Allison saw it because she became invisible, too. So she was sad. And in the 19th classroom, there was the real Mark Miller. But when she got out of the classroom, she got normal. But in the story, Benjamin was calm, but not smart. But, in the opposite way, Allison was very smart.

I think first, Benjamin couldn’t say his real name if he got angry even in chapter 29. If he got angry, he would lose the chance. It is because he couldn’t say it for a long time. But I think Allison will solve her problem and go out of the classroom. Her problem could be solved if Allison was angry, too. It is because I think the mind of wanting to go out of the classroom will be stronger than her angry mind.

Teamwork

In this writing, I will write about the problem in chapter 13. It was a problem about Uncle Feather, Fudge’s bird. Uncle Feather knocked the birdcage, so Mini thought, “I think Uncle Feather wants to play.” So he opened the birdcage. Then, Uncle Feather came out and crashed into the window. Uncle Feather was lucky that he didn’t bump his head, so he didn’t die.

At that time, everyone felt very surprised. Then, Peter thought, “We need to save Uncle Feather!” So he shouted orders. Fudge shut all the doors except to his room, and Eudora pulled down the shades fast. And Cousin Howie covered the mirrors. Everyone solved the problem together. Then, I write one more time. When Uncle Feather crashed into the kitchen window, everybody thought he was dead. So they called the vet, and they brought him to the pet hospital. His wing was broken, but he didn’t die.

I think everyone in Peter’s family will be very happy and excited that Cousin Howie came to Peter’s house. And in the end of the book, I think everyone will be happy. It is because I think it will be what they hoped in the end. It is a happy ending.
